An isolated single L-II type coronary artery anomaly: A rare coronary anomaly.
The incidence of congenital artery anomalies is 0.2-1.4%, and most are benign. Single coronary artery (SCA) anomalies are very rare. The right coronary artery (RCA) originating from the left coronary system is one such SCA anomaly, and the risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD) increases if it courses between the pulmonary artery and aorta and coexists with other congenital heart diseases. Addition...
متن کاملDual left anterior descending coronary artery (type IV): a rare coronary artery anomaly
The variants of the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery are important in interpretation of coronary angiogram and in interventional procedures. The double LAD coronary artery originating from the left main coronary stem and the right coronary artery is a rare congenital coronary anomaly. In this case report, we are describing a patient with the double left anterior descending coronar...
متن کاملA Rare Coronary Artery Anomaly: Single Coronary Artery Originate From Right Sinus Valsalva R-IIP Sub-Group Type
We reported a single coronary artery case that in the R-IIP sub-group which is a rare sub-group comparing with other sub-groups of single coronary artery originating from right sinus valsalva.
متن کاملTwin circumflex arteries: a rare coronary artery anomaly.
Dual origin of the circumflex artery is an extremely rare anomaly. We report a rare case of a left circumflex artery arising from the left mainstem and an anomalous circumflex artery from a separate ostium in the right coronary sinus. Both these arteries supplied the circumflex territory. The potential pathological significance of the anomaly and pitfalls of the misdiagnosis are also discussed.
متن کاملSingle coronary artery; extremely rare coronary anomaly successfully treated surgically in young adult male.
Single coronary artery arising from aortic root, is a rare congenital anomaly. A 30-year-old male presented with acute myocardial infarction (MI) complaining of chest pain and raised troponin levels. Emergency angiography showed no coronary lesions but both left and right coronary arteries arising from single ostium. Patient was operated electively and perioperative findings confirmed the diagn...
